The mission of CDW is just so unique. I love being a part of the innovative way CDW removes the barriers to doula services that so many families face as well as the barriers to the doula profession itself. Paving the way for others is hard work but so rewarding. I am glad that I get to be a part of such a wonderful community and organization.
I believe that every woman deserves a doula, CDW makes this possible. Pregnancy and childbirth are normal and natural processes, but it can be overwhelming and scary to give birth. I am passionate about walking alongside these families through one of the most joyful, intense, exciting, and raw experiences of their lives. I work to empower women and their partners to have the birth experience they desire, promoting healthy outcomes and happy families.
I serve with Community Doulas of Waco because this work is deeply personal to me. I’ve been immersed in the world of doula care from a young age, witnessing firsthand the profound impact it has on women and families. Growing up in Waco, I developed a deep love for my community, and I’m passionate about using storytelling and social media to amplify the voices of the women we serve. I can confidently say that this organization aligns with my personal values and my heart for service. Every day, I’m driven by the opportunity to uplift, support, and empower women in my city. Being part of a team that is making a tangible difference in the lives of families is both an honor and a calling, and I’m grateful to contribute to the mission of Community Doulas of Waco.
I’ve had the pleasure of receiving doulas services in 2018 and it changed my life. Never had I experienced such intentional care about my wellbeing and the incredible services I had through my postpartum period. I have made it a priority to make sure every mother I come in contact with knows she’s heard and valued! Working with Community Doulas of Waco gives me that opportunity, with every call and every family we serve.
My passion for helping others started the day I became a mom. Seeing the amount of pressure a mother goes through daily is what makes me passionate for what I do. I love helping mothers feel like they have that support they might not have at home. Whether it’s having a conversation or just my presence in their daily life, I know how much that can mean to a mother as we adapt to the different stages of emotion after birth. My job is to make sure you feel happy and healthy, so your children can get the attention they deserve.
I am passionate about working with the Community Doula of Waco because of our shared values and love for helping others. I’m passionate because of the opportunity Community Doulas of Waco has afforded me in meeting and helping many families. I’m passionate because of the passionate, purposeful doulas I get to work with. Their passion for the work that they do is contagious and we make a great team because of it. Lastly, I’m passionate about working for Community Doulas of Waco because I get the opportunity to extend love and support towards mamas and their families during one of the most precious moments of their lives.
Seeing mothers and families thrive in raising their newborn babies fuels my passion for working with Community Doulas of Waco. I love empowering women to be the best mothers they can be, watching them grow and building lasting relationships that will always remain. Community Doulas of Waco has given me the opportunity to shape lives, one mother, one baby, and one family at a time.
I am passionate about serving clients with Community Doulas of Waco because I truly feel in my heart that every family expecting a new baby deserves and needs a doula regardless of their ability to hire one for themselves. As a former recipient of the services Community Doulas of Waco provides, I know first hand just how valuable the support from a doula before, during, and after childbirth is, and what a positive impact it can have on the entire experience for the whole family. I became a doula with Community Doulas of Waco because I wanted to be a part of that change in my community and help make a doula for every mother/family a reality.
I became a doula because I experienced firsthand the power of unwavering support during birth and postpartum. As a former client of Community Doulas of Waco, I walked into motherhood young and uncertain, but with my doulas by my side, I was empowered, uplifted, and truly seen. They helped me realize the strength within myself that I didn’t know I had. They gave me the knowledge & confidence to speak up for myself and be the best mother to my baby.
Their work didn’t just inspire me; it changed me. It made me want to be that source of comfort, knowledge, and reassurance for others—especially young mothers who, like I once did, may feel overwhelmed or scared. I believe that every birthing person, regardless of their circumstances or income, deserves compassionate & judgment-free care. Through Community Doulas of Waco, I have the privilege of offering that same support I once received, ensuring that no one has to walk this path alone.
This is more than a role—it’s a calling. And I am honored to improve maternal health outcomes & stand beside families as they bring life into the world, just as someone once stood beside me.
Devoted to serving the Waco community as a birth and postpartum doula. I am fueled by a profound passion for supporting mothers, babies, and families. Guided by a commitment to empower and facilitate birthing experiences, I find deep fulfillment in being a reliable resource during both prenatal and postpartum journeys.
I work for Community Doulas of Waco because I believe in the calling this organization has to help mamas achieve their birth and postpartum goals. Having gone through a traumatic birth experience and a c-section, it made a great impact on me knowing that I had someone in my corner to empower me to speak up for myself and help me navigate birth and postpartum. I am committed to this beautiful organization and the invaluable services they offer.
Born and raised in Dallas, I’ve lived in Spain, China, Los Angeles, and East Texas. My family and I are enjoying putting our roots down in Waco! The vision and reach of Community Doulas of Waco, “Helping moms and helping those moms help themselves”, is the heartbeat of why I am a doula. I love my clients with Community Doulas of Waco. The incredible, beautiful, and life-changing journey of pregnancy, labor, and birth, whether it’s the first baby or one of many, are defining moments in each family’s lives. Being a part of the support team for each client is an honor and I want to make sure they know they have a voice and are able to make informed choices in their perinatal care as well as how they labor and birth their child. I experience such incredible joy having the honor of serving the women and families in the Waco area as they welcome their little ones. I believe every mama and family should receive care and support through the many changes and challenges that often come with their new addition. I want each client to know that they are valued, are heard, are empowered as a parent, and feel cared for and nurtured by me. It is my dream to see every mama have the birth and postpartum care that wants it!
